Curse.com Gets a Hands On Preview!

QUOTE
Curse.com visited Petroglyph last week for a hands-on sneak peek at the latest build of Mytheon. Check out their latest impression of what you'll see in the upcoming closed beta, including new exclusive screenshots!:

QUOTE
"The graphics look incredible and the key bindings work a lot like some games in the same style of genre, Diablo 2, Torchlight, etc. It's a pretty intuitive game and very easy to get into and start exploring. The maps are incredibly detailed and more open than you'd normally get in this style of game." - Donovan, Curse.com

Check out the entire hands-on preview here at Curse.com!

Its definately worth a read.

It also leaks to us that the beta is going live NEXT week!! I'm seriously looking forward to some hardcore action with my Warcaster..

Welcome to the New PG Website

The new PG website is now LIVE and the forums are up and running!

Berek-PG has welcomed the new Site and Forums with the following words

QUOTE
It is my pleasure to present to you this new site and forums! What a ride in development it has been, but here we are. Everything should be in place, though we will of course be tweaking and enhancing areas as the need comes up. Hopefully you will help us spot those areas that need additional attention.

Since you've had a few days to look over the site proper, I'm sure you have some immediate comments on those pages, especially when it comes to browser compatibility issues. The forums have had quite a bit changed. While content remains the same, here are some of the things we've adjusted in order to give you more tools for discussions:

*Upgraded the forums from IPB 2.x to IPB 3.x and added a new skin
*Adjusted some of the categories and forum locations
*Re-organized the Usergroups. We have cleared the "Community Leader" group.
*Implemented the new rules & guidelines

That's about it! Lots of changes in a few key areas. I hope you like what we've developed here. Even if you have some reservations about it, or hate it (hopefully not!), we're all ears on your suggestions for improving the site and forums. Again, browser compatibilities and other small issues are bound to come up, so we appreciate everyone's patience while these are revealed and we clean them up.

We'll be sending out an official announcement and contests as soon as you've settled in. So, have at it... it's all open!

So go and get involved with the New-Look PG community or stay around here at GameSector for some Mytheon Discussion!

Mat has also given the web a look at the Petroglyph Xmas Card

So Merry Christmas & a Happy Holiday Season from PG and all of us here at Mytheon Sector!

Redesign and kick up-the-arse!

Many a day has gone by since the original launch of Mytheon Sector earlier this year. However, the site has not been particularly active. As part of the Game Sector Network's rejuvenation - we've redesigned Mytheon Sector. The site still has a few things to sort out yet (such as the pages!) but we'll be all go again very shortly.

In the meanwhile, check out the forums - they're looking pretty snazzy these days ;)
